It has come to my attention that it does update automatically for some, yet not for others. If it does not update automatically for you, you will have to manually right click the tray icon and click Update. I apologize for this inconvenience.

Please extract the ESET NOD32 Antivirus & Smart Security 4.0.437 folder and follow the readme located in the FiX folder before asking any questions. This has been tested on Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7, and it works. You won't have to input a new serial every few days. The fix will enable the updates to be downloaded without a serial, and will allow this antivirus to last forever. It beats my previous NOD32 Antivirus 2.7 which only lasted about 16,714,213 days.

Before you ask, the fix is NOT a virus. It is explained in the readme.

You only need to install either the Smart Security or the Antivirus. Whichever you install is up to you.

NOTE: When you get to the point where it asks you to enter the username and password when you're installing it, just check "Set update parameters later". This window will look something like this:

Once you do that, you may proceed with the installation.
